Firefox should be compatible with add-ons, if it says it supports them. Performance falls down as we install add-ons, even if it is as small as in kilobytes.

A must-have app for every Internet user.

Pros: best in terms of security and privacy.
Cons: it has changed many easy and good features of previous versions.
Our opinion: download FIREFOX 29.
You can also try: Opera

I have been using Firefox faithfully since 2005, usually I have been more than happy with it. However, this latest update in my opinion is about the worst experience a man can have. I have actually been FORCED TO USE THE FORBIDDEN WORD to shop on or view any website selling items. Come on you guys, what in the world were you thinking? How long will it take you to fix this mess so I can come back?

I don't know why the ad blocker update blocks the ads that I click on. What I don't want is to be bombarded by ads every time I open a window. If I click on a Google ad I want to see what it says. Why is that so difficult to figure out?
I work with two browsers. Firefox is my second choice because of this add-on.

I have loved using Firefox since I dabbled with VALID HTML Web design over a decade ago ( needed a browser that displayed code correctly) and have kept firefox as my browser for all that time.
However I do wonder sometimes about the various upgrades.
The once that bugs me the most is the NEW format for saving Bookmarks - it just LUMPS every bookmark you save into a common pool and has now stopped giving ME the ability to say where MY bookmark goes. Let me explain:-

My hobby is genealogy so (JUST for the USA) I have 50 SEPERATE Folders of bookmarks (one for each USA STATE) - so I USED to be able to put all PA Genealogy related Books in my PA Folder and all the Indian ones in my IN Folder.
NOW I have to save bookmarks - then set a day aside sometime to go through ALL the bookmarks I have saved and manually transfer them to the relevant folders - a REAL PAIN IN THE A**.

So Come on Firefox - PLEASE - Don't fix things that are not broken - and PLEASE revert to the old style saving of Bookmarks.

Oh man, what's happening to Mozilla Firefox? The new bookmark menu is a headache. You have to go through recent bookmarks to get a bookmark. It is really irritating. Bad

I just googled "Firefox Comments' to see if I could find a Firefox site to complain to - I see you have the SAME gripe as me... I just wonder WHICH idiot they test all these 'upgrades' on for user feedback - it certainly wasn't us ...lol.

I agree with the negative comments about the new design of the browser since ver. 29. For me, the redesign of the back and forward buttons are a daily annoyance. You now have to click twice to actually go back. This attempt to conserve space is unnecessary.

When I click the back button, I want to go back, not just open up the icon to expose the forward button too. Most people use the back button far more often anyway.

Customizing the menu bar has also been made more difficult. Drag and drop and moving the arrangement of icons around was simpler before ver. 29.

Although I noticed and improvement in ver 30, it still occasionally crashes randomly due to high amounts of memory leakage that seemed to begin with ver. 29. Prior to that, I never had any issues with random crashes.

Firefox should get better, not worse. If something ain't broke, don't fix it.

I am uninstalling FireFox from all of my systems as a protest against Mozilla for firing their CEO because just it opposes homo marriage. So do I and the CEO has a right to its opinion just as I do. Besides, it has become a lousy browse, constantly slowing down and hanging up. They must have hired ex-Microsoft programmers.

I switched back to IE. It is way too busy and no way to turn the garbage off. Too hard to understand. Firefox used to be great. Who changed the things!

They keep changing it. But I have yet to see them get the popup blocker right!
Each and every time, I set it to ON.
And, of course, the blocker doesn't work.

I dislike the new version so much I'm seriously considering using the one supplied with the OS again. It looks like they entrusted the new design to an intern and no one supervised them.

This last version have some not-well-thought design.
First of all, is not original: looks like Chrome!
Some menu bars should be more customizable. In fact, customization is worse than in prior versions.
The right panel is not very useful (so far, It is an annoying and useless "tool"? Why is it on the right?)
And the worst part: Markers icon and that stupid "star" icon are not splitable. This leads to accidentally mark a page instead of opening Markers' tab.
If one intents to dock Markers tab, this can only be done in two steps instead of simply click on the Markers icon.

Apart of design issues, seems that this new version is heavier and doesn't seem to manage very well multiple windows opened.
Once in a while, Firefox gets so slow that I must shut it down in order to refresh memory.
(In Windows Task Manager, Firefox can easily lead to almost 2 gigs of system memory).

Please correct me if there is any issue not as accurate as it seems.

Why don't they keep this software as simple as it was?
Looks like the Windows 8 flop, by removing the start button.
